One of my favorite spots at Discovery Cove was the pool that you can get in and swim with the Stingrays. They were so amazing. They felt so soft and smooth. It looked like they would smile at you as they swam up to you. The trainers in the pool gave us some pointers: watch our steps so that we don't step on "napping" rays; stand still in one spot with you hands in the water in front of you or by your side...well, it was nearly impossible to keep Hannah from jumping up and down, she was so excited. She did finally get to touch one and she was just overjoyed. I will forever remember these special times and hope you enjoy sharing our memories.
