I wanted to share even more pictures from Hannah's party.

Hello. I wanted to update you on some things that have been happening in our life. I had my back surgery a couple months ago. I am still having some problems but am working closely with my doctor to try to overcome them. Hannah had her partial hysterectomy last month and is doing wonderful. She has qualified to have a "wish" granted from Make a Wish. I am going to share with you the start of a beautiful journey with this wonderful group of people...
On Thursday, July 14th, Make a Wish, Harris Teeter and Wendy's joined together to throw Hannah a party to celebrate the granting of her wish...Amy Laws and her sister Donna have worked closely with Hannah and myself in planning not only Hannah's wish, but also her trip...

Continued support from friends and family helps make our days a lot easier...

I have always contributed to Make a Wish, but never thought of Hannah as being a qualifying child. It was because of a very special friend, Dana, that I filled out the application. She encourages me quite often in many ways. Hannah and I are very fortunate to have Dana and the girls at Paragon on our side.

We had approximately 40 guests at the party to celebrate the granting of Hannah's wish. It was so very overwhelming to me. I looked around and had to thank God for the family and friends that share Hannah with me. Without their support, I truely don't know how I would survive some of our difficult days.

More family and friend's...

Hannah is the love of my life. I am thankful for every day that I have with her. Although Rett's tends to make our lives a little stressful, we are thankful for what we have and will live each day to the fullest extent...
